Rub a dub dub...
one baby in a tub. ---(Which, by the way, sounds a lot better than three men in a tub. What is that rhyme about anyway?!?!?)

6 sweet little months
Despite a runny nose, lots of teething, and a fever, we were still able to catch a few smiles documenting 6 whole months...a half of a year. We still need to take the other pictures with his 6-month onesie, but we'll save that for later this week after he's weighed in at his doctor's appointment.
This kid is quite the character...
I love this face... ha!

Videos schmideos...
My number one complaint about blogging is how it takes FOREVER to load videos that aren't taken on a cell phone. I have lots I'd like to share, but always feel like it is too much work. Here are a few that we've taken recently...
*If someone knows the secret to fast video loading please pass it along!
Deliriously tired at dinner the other night...
Goofin' around in North Dakota...

Things are changing around here...
Who needs to roll over when you can do this?!
This is pretty fun..
Sitting is tiring work...
On Tuesday, Hudson seemed to wake up ready to conquer something new. This is the picture I took on my phone, as I watched him really sit for the first time for any length of time. He's looking pretty proud!
Since then, he's been doing lots and lots of practicing... (and some falling as well!) :)

Yay Hudson! It is so hard to believe he'll be six months on Monday, but I'll save that for another post.

Leavin on a jet plane...
Early last Thursday morning, Hudson and I headed to North Dakota with my dad, step-mom, and brother Nick. We got to the airport about 5:30am. Hudson stayed asleep the whole way there, including when we got inside, until I had to take him out of the car seat to go through security. Grr. As always, this boy was all smiles as soon as he woke up.
He was quite the little traveler. He was an angel on the plane, in spite of being extremely tired.
We passed the time by sleeping a tad, playing, playing some more, and singing lots of "Caminando por el campo" (once again, the famous song that will stop all tears immediately). I don't know why it works, but I'm sure glad it does!
Once we got to Minneapolis, we waited for a bit hardly able to control our excitement to get to Fargo and see the big game!
Heading on to plane #2!
Although in desperate need of a nap, Hudson spent about 1/2 of the flight just staring at the man next to me. Thankfully, he was a father of four and didn't seem to be bothered by such an adorable baby. :)
Upon arriving in Fargo, we quickly went to the hotel, changed clothes, and ran out the door to grab a quick bite to eat before the game. Meanwhile, somebody took a much needed snooze in the car seat. Hudson's new kicks were a present from Grandpa and Grandma Braun, and are identical to the shoes Uncle Taylor and Uncle Nick have.
Hudson was nothing short of MESMERIZED by the game. From the band, to the players, to the fans, to the jumbotron. He soaked up every minute of all the excitement!
(So mesmerized in fact, that we couldn't even get his attention for the picture!)
T-Bone steak.
We enjoyed lots of time with family, and lots of time just lounging around at our hotel. Hudson enjoyed his new giant bathtub.
It was such a nice trip. I'm so thankful for the time we got to spend with this side of my family, and we look forward to cheering the Bison on to many future victories!
As for the ride home, this little stud was a champ!
We were even lucky enough to have an empty seat next to us where Hudson slept for the majority of the plane ride home!

Proudly showing off his first set of wings!

Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for making the trip possible, and for all Hudson's new gear!
Thanks to Uncle Nick for helping out along the way!
Thanks to Uncle Taylor for such a nice visit and such fun games to watch!
We love you!
