We're baaaaaaaaack!

So, in the past 2 months we've:

  • Packed up our house in Oregon
  • Driven across the country in a truck and camper with a dog and another little animal
  • Moved into a new house
  • Unpacked and reorganized the house (a few times over)
  • Started going to a great new church
  • Been in trouble with the HOA
  • Realized our computer (with all my pictures) broke in the move
  • Taken the computer to get fixed
  • Picked the computer up just to get home and realize we didn't have the power cord
  • Waited for them to mail us the power cord (Thank you Apple for sparing me another trip driving in downtown Arlington)
  • Sat in a lot of traffic
  • Potty trained Hudson (well this is still up for debate, as he has had a recent change of heart--but I'm going to speak in faith)
  • Both started new jobs
  • Been really tired ;)
  • Missed a lot of family and friends

So ya, we haven't been up to much and I'm surprised I haven't just been sitting at the computer all day blogging my heart out. For all those waiting (which my mom claims are a lot, although since I never see any comments, I don't truly think my blog has any followers) :), here is a big, fat, enormous Christmas post with unedited pictures and no writing (which I know my sisters prefer. They can be rude at times.) :) We'll start there and work our way to the present...

Christmas morning at our house...

 Books from his stocking...

His mama, er, Santa may or may not be obsessed with children's books. :/ But hey, they're educational and they will last forever (well maybe not forever with Hudson, but for decent amount of time).

Christmas morning at (one of the) Buela's (as Hudson calls her) house...

Next stop: Grandpa and Grandma Jones' house...

Such a sweet boy...

Then we went up to Grandpa and Grandma Braun's house... (for the last Christmas at that house :( )

Um...where is his mother and why did she let his hair look like that?!

He's a maniac, but we sure do love him.
Merry Christmas!
..and Happy New Year
...and Martin Luther King, Jr. day
...and Valentine's day
...and President's day

:) more soon...

Note: Two years in a row of not enough pictures of Hudson with family, and too many pictures of him by himself. Must get better about that!

The North Pole Party

Last night Hudson and I attended the 1st (annual?!) North Pole party hosted by our pastor's wife, Patti, and kiddos. What a perfect night! We had SO MUCH FUN! From the lights, to the plates, to the cupcakes, to the toddler table, to all the cuties in their jammies, the whole party was to die for adorable! Here are a few pictures I managed to sneak during all the fun!

(Lily did NOT want me to take her picture!
She conveniently pretended to be extremely busy every time I tried to get her attention!)

Little Koa love

I adore these three boys.

Have they changed much in the last year?

All the kids made little baggies of reindeer food to put out on their driveway on Christmas Eve.

If you're thinking there are a lot of pictures of Hudson at the food table,
it's because that is where he was most interested in spending the majority of the party ;)

Great shot of him and his mama :)

In the middle of eating snacks and drinking hot cocoa, the kids heard some thumping on the roof...

and spotted elves running around outside!
We had a busy night full of snacks, cookie decorating, gift exchanging,
and listening to the story of Jesus' birth.

Hudson got that cute red dinosaur in the gift exchange.
He loved it, but was secretly hoping he'd get Lily's vtech computer. :)

What a fabulous night!

Thank you Patti and all the little Rice's for hosting an incredible party!
We love love love you!
